Dear Mr. and Mrs.,
I'd like to welcome you on behalf of myself to this new journal. I will most likely be continuing my last one, but I feel it's time to start something new. Something true to myself and to you, because how real am I if I sugar-coat everything and omit the facts? As honored guests, please make yourselves at home and say whatever you want, but I only ask that you say real things. Please be aware that I will spare no feelings this time, and will no longer be afraid to go home after a journal entry. Thank you and have a safe day.
